Quickly design and edit label layouts
There are two ways to design labels:
1. Design labels using Zebra Designer free software
2. Design labels quickly using our integrated label editor from our new Label Layouts page
- Navigate to the Label Layouts page
- From the left hand navigation menu, choose 'Printing V2'
-
- Click 'Layouts' button in the top right hand corner of the page
- On the new page, click the blue "+" button in the top right hand corner. When hovering over it, it will say 'Create new label'
- Click 'Layouts' button in the top right hand corner of the page
- Select the Size - The layout must match the exact size of your label. If it does not, the print jobs will shift and void.
- Create the Name - Name the new layout you're going to create
- Add the desired Fields
- From the left hand side, click on one of the 5 options to add to your label design. Some options may have sub-option to choose from.
- Customizing Properties
Once a field has been added, you can change the specific information for that field.
E.g. Text can be changed from the default 'Name' to 'Price'
-
- With the field that you want to customize highlighted, click on the drop down arrow next to the field on the right hand side of the screen
- Choose the subcategory you'd like to change it to, and then the specific information you'd like printed instead.
- Save the new label layout
- Once you're satisfied with the placements and sizes of your fields, click the 'Save' button in the bottom right corner.
With your tags designed, you can proceed to print them
