Tagging New Items
How do I tag new items as they arrive into my inventory?
This article provides the different ways to tag new items which are added to your inventory.
Source Tagging Vs. On-Receipt Tagging
If you source items, it is ideal to implement RFID at manufacturing. This allows you to benefit by having visibility into what items are completed and tagged at the Supplier level. It offers the benefit of immediately scanning items as they arrive to you, and verifying the accuracy of your order. If possible, it is always best to tag items as far upstream as possible.
If you order direct from other vendors, you may need to tag items at receipt. This means that you will generate a print job or print labels and have them ready to apply to items as soon as they arrive. There are a couple different ways to do this:
1. Create Print Job from Purchase Order
