Print Jobs Not Printing

Print jobs stuck in Pending, or Start Print Job button not activated? This article can help you troubleshoot.

If print jobs you get stuck in pending, or if you cannot select the Start Print Job button, your controlling PC or printer is likely offline. This article covers the steps to troubleshooting these issues and getting your printer back online.

Step 1 Verify the Status of your PC and Printer

  • Login to web-new.simplerfid.com 
  • Navigate to web-new.simplerfid.com and click on the Settings (gear icon). 

  • Select the RF Printers tab

From the Printers tab, locate the machine you are using to print

  • If the internet icon is grey, the printer is offline, and the software running on the local machine cannot connect to the web. 

Troubleshoot: If the host PC is not near you, click on the Name to view the pop-up details for that machine for the AnyDesk software. AnyDesk is remote PC-sharing software that allows a remote connection.

If you try and connect via AnyDesk and you receive the following message:

This means the PC is either turned off, lost its internet connection, or the client has been stopped/blocked. 

If you find that the machine is 

  • If the host PC is connected, but the printer shows offline, as in the case of STANS-LAPTOP. This likely means the printer is turned off or the USB cord is not properly secured.
