Verify Label Encoding
This article will help verify GS1 encoding, or locate a Company Prefix or Item Reference.
1. Scan the tags in question with the TSL RFID Explorer app. This will generate the raw EPC string.
2. Take this string and input it into the RFID Tag EPC Memory Contents window.
3. Once the page loads, you can locate the Company Prefix in the EPC Pure Identity URI window after the sgtin:. So for this example, the Company Prefix is 0614141. The Item Reference for this product appears after the Company Prefix, so in this case, it is 812345.
You can locate this Encoder/Decoder here: GS1 Encoder / Decoder.
