Transfer orders allow you to verify the transfer of items between your own locations in Simple RFID.
To create a transfer order, first, open the app, then select "Transfer Orders" then "Shipping":
On this screen you will see all shipping orders for the current location. You can change locations by tapping the location name at the top of the screen, in this example "Test DC". You can also filter by Status, including New/Approved, Shipping QC/Shipped, Receiving QC, and Completed. Tap the [ + ] button at the bottom of the screen to create a new order:
On this screen you can change the Order #, Status, Destination, and optionally add a comment to the order. To continue, select a Destination and then tap the Products tab up at the top of the screen:
From this point you can either add products to the order by pressing "Select products" and inputting the products and quantity manually; or you can press "Scan products" and then use your handheld reader to scan the products you wish to include in the order.
If you add products manually, you will need to scan them later to verify the order. If you add products by scanning, the order will automatically be verified.
When selecting "Scan Products", you will see this screen, at which point you can use your handheld reader to scan products to add to the order:
Now press Save. Since the products are already scanned and verified, you will be asked if you would like to Ship the order. If you select No, the order will need to be marked as Shipped before the Receiving QC can be completed at the destination.
Once the order is shipped, it will be available for QC at the destination location. At the destination, select Receiving from the Transfer Orders screen. (Once again, you can change locations within the app by tapping the Location name at the top of the screen). From here, you will see your pending receiving orders:
At this point, select your order and once again tap the Products tab near the top. You will wee a list of products in the order. From this screen, tap Verify to begin the QC scan:
You will now be able to scan the products in the order to verify that they have been received. Once all items for a product have been scanned, you will see that the Origin count (in yellow) and the Destination count (in blue) are the same (in this example, just 1). You will also see that the product now has a green tint once all items have been scanned. Once all items are scanned, tap Finish verification. You will be asked if you would like to mark the order as completed.
Once you mark the order as completed, you will see it on the Receiving orders screen.
Now that the order has been marked complete, these items will be removed from the Origin inventory and added to the Destination inventory.
