Tagging Existing Items

This article covers the best practices of tagging existing inventory items

What is the best way to print tags for existing items?

There are two methods to create print jobs to tag existing items:

  1. Create print jobs one at a time
  2. Create print jobs by uploading the items & quantities via spreadsheet

A situation to print via spreadsheet would occur if you have a set inventory and location for each of  your products. You need to print large amounts of the same product that are in one area.

Create print jobs one at a time

  • Use this method if:
    • You have a scattered inventory where you're not printing for large amounts of the same product
    • You have a lot of items scattered about & not in any specific location.

Create print jobs by uploading the items & quantities via spreadsheet
